Parachinar news.

Today, Parachinar, located in the Kurram district of Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, remains tense due to ongoing clashes between two tribal groups. The violence, primarily triggered by a long-standing land dispute, has led to the deaths of at least 49 people and injured 184 over the past week. Heavy weapons have reportedly been used during the conflict, which has spread across several areas, including Boshera, Peewar, and Tangi.

Efforts by local authorities, jirga elders, and security forces to negotiate a ceasefire have seen mixed results. While some areas have agreed to a truce, sporadic violence continues, particularly at night. The closure of the Parachinar-Peshawar highway has disrupted transportation and caused shortages of essential goods like food and medicine, compounding hardships for local residents.
